Samsung Galaxy S10, S10+ and S10e Launched. Know Specifications, Price and Availability

        Samsung has officially launched its Galaxy S10 series which includes the Galaxy S10, S10+ and the Galaxy S10e in an event in San Francisco on Wednesday.

       The Galaxy S10 and the S10+ are a huge update to its predecessors with added features such as in-Display fingerprint scanner, triple camera setup on the rear and reverse wireless charging. Samsung has also launched an affordable variant to the S10 lineup, the Galaxy S10e.

       The South Korean company has also unveiled its 5g variant to this series, the Galaxy S10 5g which will be only available in June.

Samsung Galaxy S10 Specifications

       The Samsung Galaxy S10 has a 6.1 inch 19:9 aspect ratio QHD+ Infinity-O Display. The display supports HDR 10+ and can reduce blue light. The device is powered by a 7nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor in some regions and Exynos 9820 processor in others. The smartphone comes with 8GB of Ram and the consumer has the option of choosing between two storage variants - 128GB and 512 GB with support for expandable storage. In camera department, the device comes with a triple rear camera setup which consists of a 12 megapixel wide angle lens, a 12 megapixel telephoto lens and a 16 megapixel ultra wide lens camera. The selfie camera on this is of 10 megapixel. The Galaxy S10 includes a 3.55 mm headphone jack and USB Type C port. The battery capacity on this one is 3400mAh. For security, the Galaxy S10 consists of an ultra sonic in display fingerprint scanner. The device runs on Android 9.0 Pie with Samsung UI on top. It also supports reverse wireless charging.

     The Samsung Galaxy S10+ has a larger 6.4-inch display compared to Galaxy S10 with a 19:9 aspect ratio. The processor on this one is same as on S10. The Samsung Galaxy S10+ is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor in some regions or the Exynos 9820 in others. The display supports HDR10+ and reduces blue light too. The Galaxy S10+ has an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner. The smartphone comes with two Ram variants - 8GB RAM and 12GB RAM variant. It has three storage variants -- 128GB, 512GB, and 1TB -- with expandable storage support. The S10+ has a triple rear camera which are the same as the S10. The front camera setup on the S10+ is different. It has two front cameras and battery capacity on this is 4100 mAh. The smartphone also supports reverse wireless charging. 

Samsung Galaxy S10e Specifications.

     Samsung has also launched an Affordable smartphone in its S10 lineup, the Galaxy S10e. The Samsung Galaxy S10 e has a 5.8-inch Infinity-O Display and will be available with 6GB or 8GB of RAM. The smartphone will support either a Snapdragon 855 or an Exynos 9820 SoC. The Galaxy S10e features a 12-megapixel wide-angle sensor and a 16-megapixel fixed focus sensor on the back. On the front, the Galaxy S10e has a single front camera, which is the same as that on the Galaxy S10. The consumer will have the option to choose from two storage variants -- 128GB and 512GB -- along with microSD card support for expandable storage. This smartphone has a capacitive fingerprint sensor at the back and does not include the  in-display fingerprint sensor featured on the other two S10 smartphones. The Galaxy S10e has a 3100mAh battery.

Pricing and Availability

       Samsung Galaxy S10 price starts at $899.99 (roughly Rs. 64,190), the Galaxy S10+ price starts at $999.99 (roughly Rs. 71,320), and Galaxy S10e price starts at $749.99 (roughly Rs. 53,490). Samsung might announce the price of these three phones during the event. The Samsung Galaxy Fold is priced at $1,980 (roughly Rs. 1.41 lakhs) in the US. The pre-orders for the Galaxy S10 will be available from Feb 21 and devices will ship March 8.
