Smartphone Radiation Chinese manufacturers Xiaomi and One Plus top the list with four of their smartphone’s including Xiaomi Mi A1 and One Plus 5t in the top five smartphone’s emitting most amount of radiations according to a report by German Federal Office for Radiation Protection . The list was compiled by Statista of top smartphone’s emitting the most and the least amount of radiation. The amount of radiation emitted by the smartphone's is known by the SAR value or the Specific Absorption Rate of the smartphone which is also specified on the box packing. The maximum SAR value accepted is 1.6 Watt per kg .
