      Chinese tech giant Xiaomi has unveiled one of its kind dual side Foldable smartphone in a video by the President Wang Xiang posted on micro-blogging site Weibo and later Tweeted.

      Just two months back Samsung has revealed its foldable display prototype and now Xiaomi has entered into the race of foldable displays with its dual side foldable smartphone and it is one of its kind.

      The smartphone caught everyone's attention after a video of the same was posted by Xiaomi President Wang Xiang on Weibo which shows a tablet sized smartphone running on MIUI which in the later part of the video folds from two sides to turn into a smartphone with curved edges which looks interesting.

      Xiaomi explains that the double sided folding smartphone will be coming soon and is powered by technologies such as flexible folding screen technology, four wheel drive folding shaft technology, flexible cover technology and adapted MIUI which adds up to make this unique looking folding smartphone.

      The dual sided folding smartphone by Xiaomi is fascinating but we are keen to know that where will the company place the cameras on these smartphone as they are not seen in the video. Also the display is visible at back even after folding the smartphone which is of no use to the user and will just consume battery. However, Xiaomi states that, what appears to be in the prototype in the video will go into mass production in future. Xiaomi is also planning to name its foldable smartphone as Xiaomi Dual Flex or Xiaomi Mix Flex. Now we can just hope that the company launches the smartphone very soon.
