          Chinese smartphone giant Xiaomi has launched its Redmi Note 7 in India with base price of Rs 9999 in India in an event held at New Delhi. The Successor of the Redmi Note 6 – the Note 7 features glass body design unlike the predecessors, which featured aluminum frames. 

         The Note 7 comes with a 6.3-inch Full HD+ display that features a Dot Notch Display with an aspect ratio of 19.5:9. The device is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor paired with Adreno 512GPU as well. The storage options available to the buyer are – 3/4GB of RAM and 32/64GB of internal storage respectively. 

       The Note 7 comes with dual rear cameras featuring a 12MP primary sensor and a 5MP secondary sensor with an aperture of f/1.8. The front notch of the Note 7 hosts a 13MP selfie shooter as well. These cameras are also AI-powered and support features like Auto Scene Detection, Portrait mode, and beauty modes.

        On security front, the device features a conventional fingerprint sensor on the rear. The Redmi Note 7 features a 4000mAh battery that supports Quick Charge 4.0. The Note 7 buyers can choose between three colour options – Sapphire Blue, Ruby Red, and Onyx black.

        The Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 comes in two variants - 3GB RAM + 32GB internal storage and 4GB + 64GB internal storage. The base variant is priced at Rs 9,999 and the upper variant is priced at Rs 11,999.
